I’m back with another TikTok Tuesday email.
TREND OF THE WEEK - FEEL KINDA FREE
This transition is a very subtle one. Most of the videos are people in one location and then when the times comes, they slightly lean their head back and are in another location.

Ways to spin this one for your business - “When you finally press send on that email blast” or “When your website finally launches” or if you’re working a company event or going on a retreat, you could use it to transition to the location.
LAST WEEK’S “VIRAL” VIDEO
On last weeks email, I mentioned I was getting some traction on a video and that I was going to break it down here for you guys.

THE SOUND: It starts with a throwback from 2004, “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield. Then the producer through in some beats and it quickly started gaining traction.
WHY I DID IT: It was trending and I LOVED the dance. Now a week later, the sound has now been used over 348k times.
WHY I THINK IT CAUGHT SOME TRACTION: 1) Caught the trending dance before it hit critical mass. 2) My buddy did some key framing on my hat and it added a cool effect to the video 3) It’s a throwback song and a lot of my followers are millennials 4) According to the comments, I crushed the dance….SCORE!!
ANALYTICS: Here’s the data
THINGS TO ANALYZE: What percentage of the video are people watching? This video 82%, that’s a good number. My videos are getting good traction if that number is above 75%. Shares? 97. People HAVE to share your content. Liking is too easy this far into the social media game. You HAVE to take action, share it and and tell your friend “Look at this idiot white boy doing to the Rony Boyy dance” haha but hey a shares a SHARE. Lastly, what percentage of the video is on the For You Page? 95% on this video. NEW PEOPLE HAVE TO SEE YOUR CONTENT TO GO VIRAL. The more time on the FYP, the more NEW eyes on your brand/product.
And that’s how my mind break downs every video that gets a lot of traction on TikTok. At 30k views, this is the 2nd highest views I’ve received on a video since January. Not breaking any records but continuing to grow. This video yielded me 700+ new followers.
